Error when installing from a IMG file

I've downloaded Office 2007 from MVLS site. The name of the downloaded file
end with .img. The name of the file tells me that I should be a DVD image.
The size of the file is about 560 MB. When I'm burning either to a CD or DVD
and try to install Office it tells me that a file is damage. I've tried many
CD and DVD and other application than office and the same problem appear. I
have been in contact with Microsoft in Germany and the told me to rename the
file to an .iso but it didn't help, the problem is still there. The purpose
of the MVLS, if I got it right, is that you can download it to your computer
and then make a CD or DVD to then install it on your computers in your
organization.

I hope someone can help me in this matter.

Hi Fredrik,

Wha program and version are you using to extract the files from the .img or .iso file to a CD? Some versions of Nero, for example
have had problems running on Windows Vista for that function.

Hi

I'm using Nero 7 Premium Nero Burning ROM. I just open the file in Nero and
burn it. The problem has appears with other version of Office some mounth
ago. I'm greatful for any tips to solve this
