Hi,
I'm experimenting with creating a site locally and trying to open that
site using front page 2003 using the site user I 've created in the
active directory.
The site user has all the necessary read/write perms on the web site
folder.
The error that I receive is:
Microsoft Office FrontPAge
You do not have permissions to do this operation. Ask your web site
administrator to change your permissions and then try again; or log on
with a user account that has this permission. To log on with a
different user account click OK.
OK Cancel
If I click OK and log on as the local machine's administrator then I do
not get this error, and I have no trouble saving any updates. It's just
that I cannot make it happen for the site user.
Please note that everything is happnening locally. I don't have any
other administrator other than me
and I'm running Windows Server
2003
