I have a user here that is having an issue. When she navigates the intranet to an excel spreadsheet > clicks to open the spreadsheet > then clicks one of the links in the sheet she is giving the following error:
Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range
now when an ftp shortcut is created on the user's desktop to that same spreadsheet it works fine. The oddest thing though is that when user clicks on the file IE asks what the user wants to do with 'spreadsheet.xls', however once the file is open Excel has titled the spreadsheet just Book1.xls. I understand that the reason that the Run-time error is being encountered is that the spreadsheet is being opened with the wrong name (book1.xls instead of spreadsheet.xls), but my question is why is that happening and how do I correct. Thank you for any assistance in advance.
