error when opening new word doc

when i open word 2000 for for the first time each day, the
same letter from a week ago keeps showing up. i have to
delete it out and then start my new letter. i cannot find
the problem and I am tired of searching the knowledge
base. please help. thanks

Search for a file called Normal.dot OR Normal
which is a Microsoft Word template.

Rename it and your issue will be fixed
