error when opening "normal" with auto text.

I am opening an existing normal document that contains
autotext with word 2002. I get an error message that
indicats that a table has become corrupted.
The support site indicated there was a fix wor word 2000,
but was fixed for 2002 (XP). I seem to have found
differently.

This document is the basis for all our contracts and was
written with word 95 or 97. Getting rid of it is not an
option...

Anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion. But I don't really think I
have a corruption problem. The template works just fine
for all users running Office 97 and 2000.
The autotext is located in the normal.dot file that we are
using as our base default document for word.

I've got to think that some kind of formating that is
currently in place is not being read correctly when loaded
up with the new Office XP.

Knowing that Microsoft knew about this issue as they
rolled out 2000 would indicate that it's a programming
problem...

Any one else got any ideas?

Thanks so much
