Error when printing more than one document in a session

When I attempt to print to my HP LJ 2015 for the second time in a session,
all I get from the printer is a page with "PCL XL error. Subsystem: KERNEL.
Error: IllegalOperatorSequence". Operator: EndChar. Position: 23". The first
document I print is fine. This problem began a few days ago. I can print more
than one document in Excel and Acrobat, so I assume that nothing is wrong
with the driver (PCL 6). Running Office Repair found no problems. Any ideas
on how to fix this?

Thanks for the reply. I had tried this, but didn't manually delete all the
files created when the previously downloaded driver file unzipped. I repeated
the process after cleaning out the old folder. At first I appeared to have
the same problem. After rebooting and tinkering with some of the printer
options, all seems well. I still don't undeerstand why only Word was
affected, but as long as it's printing properly I'm not going to worry about
it.
