Error when save file taken from another computer..

Hi all.. Need your help ... Currently Im using office xp and so does my
colleague( we use 2 separate stand-alone pc ). Every time I get excel file
from her( sent by email since we're working in 2 offices ), copy to my pc,
open the files, all is ok. But I can't save the files, got pop-up "Microsoft
Excel has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience.". I already tried using another computer and faced the same
problem. So, only her pc can do the saving. Any ideas ? Thanks a lot.
