Error when selecting "page setup" Word closes

When I select "page setup", I get the "Microsoft Word has encountered a
problem and needs to close..." message.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I still recieve this error.

Any ideas?

Is the Word closedown when you select page set-up in Excel? As Word is
crashing it may be better asked in the Word groups, but I suspect they will
need versions of Word, Windows, and some idea of the top part of the error
message
