Error when sending email newsletters

I can succesfully generate email newsletters using Word, however when I try
and send more than about 5 emails at a time, I get the following error
message 0x800ccc0f 'The connection to the server was
interrupted..............' And although all emails go through into the sent
items folder, none actually get through.

I have already tried the following:
Disabling Norton (And completely uninstalling)
Reinstalling Outlook
checking server timeouts are fully extended on outlook.
Checking router - still happens through dialup.
Changing firewall settings.

I think it first happened when I loaded up about 600 email newsletters - but
that might be just a conicidence.

Please help its doing my head in.

Version of Outlook?
Type of account?
Does your ISP actually allow you to send out bulk e-mails?

Hi Robert
Outlook 2003
Not sure what you mean by type of account - telewest broadband 2gb? Checked
with customer services who said no problem - normal bulk has been 150 at a
time - no problem previously.
