Error when sending to a distribution list

I'm trying to send an e-mail to a group of people. I set up a distribution list, but I got the following error when I sent my e--mail: 452 4.5.3 Too many recipients. Does anyone know what the limit is for recipients on a distribution list? It tells me which ones didn't get through, is there a way to tell which ones did

By the way, I wasn't sending spam
