Error when trying to open .mdb file after installation.

Hi,

Installed an access application (.mdb file) develped in Access 2000, onto a
computer at a different site, i.e., in a seperate office not connected to our
network. Got a message that basically stated: "You do not have the necessary
permissons to open, path and name' object. See your administrator or
application installer for assistance." (this is not the exact wording). The
application is seperated into to a back-end component containing tables, and
the front-end component containing queries, forms, reports, modules and links
to the tables in the back-end database. The back-end database opens fine but
the front-end results in the error message. Any assistance on resolving this
problem will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Art

Two possibilities:
1 - the database is secured using user level security. You need to also
install the mdw file that was used to secure it.

2 - windows permission on the folder where the frontend is are not
sufficient for the windows user trying to open the file. They need
read/write/create/delete permissions.

I'm betting the former.
