Error when trying to send emails

Hello,

I cannot find a thread for Outlook Express but I believe this could also
apply to Outlook.

When trying to send emails the following error occurs:-

'one or more messages in your outbox do not have a valid account specifie.
would you like to use your default account to send these messages'

The smtp address is different to the pop3 address as it should be in our
case. This has been working fine until a few days ago. If I delete the
messages and try again it still does the same.

I cannot find a solution anywhere on the www, apart from a few obvious
answers such as 'delete the email', which do not solve the problem. I do not
believe OE is corrupt either as I have tested this on several PCs.

Any help or solutions would be gratefully appreciated,
Jeff

The error message to me implies to check the POP3/IMAP account settings to
ensure that the email address specified is complete/correct. (e.g.
Microsoft tries to imply logic where they see (e-mail address removed). Putting in
just the name, is not sufficient even though it does work in non-microsoft
products.)

If push comes to shove, try deleting the email account, reboot, and then add
it back. Might be something funky in the registry.
