If I'm attempting to pull in actual hours (update project progress) from MS
Project Pro 2003, the function works fine. The downfall being that, as far
as I can tell, I have to do one project at a time.
When I go to PWA, I can accept all of my updates but I get an error message.
VBScript:
"You need Microsoft Project Professional 2002 or Microsoft Project
Professional 2003 in order to perform this action. If you are using either
of these versions, verify that a correct account for this Project Server has
been set up and selected by pointing to Enterprise Options (Tools Menu) and
then clicking Microsoft Office Project Server Accounts. If you are unable to
start Project with the correct account, contact your server administrator to
make sure that the enterprise features have been enabled on the Project
Server."
I've checked that URL's match and they do. Again, this function works if
done FROM MS Project Pro but NOT if done FROM PWA.
Having to do this one project at a time is a setback for our team as the
tool we have now allows us to update all of the projects in one step.
By the way, I get the same error message when I try to Open a project from
PWA.
