A few of my users are getting the following error when they open the form by
clicking on the link "Fill out this form" in the form library of sharepoint.
ERROR:
#################################################
Form template: http://SITEURL/Form LIBRARY/Forms/template.xsn
InfoPath cannot open the selected form because of an error in the form's code.
The Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 is not installed on your computer or the
InfoPath primary interop assembly (PIA) is not registered. Use Add or Remove
Programs in Control Panel to make sure that Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 is
installed or install it using Windows Update, then run Setup again to confirm
that .NET Programmability Support is installed, or contact your system
administrator.
#################################################
Can someone please let me know how i can handle this error. I am sure they
should not need DOT NET framework installed just because my form uses .net
code. SInce this is executed on the sharepoint server and if they have
infopath installed on their local box it should work right?
