Error when using email icon in Word

I receive an error message when I use the email icon on the toolbarin Word
and Excel. In Word it says - "Word could not load the e-mail envelope. This
could be caused by a network connection problem or a problem with your Office
installation." I have had Office installed for 3 years and have successfully
used this icon until just last week. Any ideas?
