Error while connecting to project server after re-install project professional

Hi there,

I'm a novice with EPM, but i have to learn sometimes right.
I just started with a EPM course, and i am trying to do some simple
tasks.
No i have encounterd a problem i can't solve, and i am hoping you guys
can help me.

At the moment i have a working EPM solution (Dutch versions) with
Project professional 2003 and Project server. Now i have deleted the
Dutch Project professional, and installed the English version of
Project professional. The Project server is still Dutch.

the problem i now get when i open project professional and try to
connect to the project server, it says that it cannot connect.

I've checked the login settings and serveradres, and those are correct.

I've checked everything i could think of, but i still can't get it to
connect. What am i doing wrong?

Is it even possible to use 2 different languages? Maybe it's a problem
with the Enterprise global template?

I hope you can help me.

To use Project Server with multiple language support, you must install the
MUI packs to support each language. You should also make sure your
workstation settings are consistent with the language version you're using.
Find the MUI packs at http://microsoft.com/downloads

Ling,

Just to cover a really simple base, don't forget to check the virtual
site (perhaps yours is the default ProjectServer site) and try
selecting both "Scripts and Executables" in the Execute permissions
option of the Virtual Directory tab.

I had trouble for a few days connecting from all of the Project Pro
clients and that was the cause of the connectivity problem. I don't
know why I would have changed it - but I can't blame it on anyone else!

I just thought I'd thow that out there for something harmless to try.

Thanks for your reaction.

I have installed the dutch mui pack, now i have alot of errors in
project web access.
The interface is now dutch, but the menu's are gone.
If i use the english interface again, everything return to normal.

Does anyone knows how to solve it? I have already installed the latest
service packs, and searched the ms knowledgebase, but i can't find the
answer.

Thanks in advance,

Ling
