I have had this before. You can go to the MS Support site below for a
description and workaround.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;887027

A better workaround that I have found is to:

1. Open up the Resource Allocation view.
2. Insert a Column: Select the column named Peak
3. Scroll down until you find the row that is the problem (usually a
negative (-) value)
4. Make note of the hours in the Work and Actual Work columns.
5. Zero out the Actual Work column, then the work column.
6. Add the correct hours back and it will recompute the Peak.

Hope this helps.

Jim.

Thanks for your advice. It s probably caused by 0/0 division. I removed one
of the unassigned resource from plan and that eliminated the error.

Thanks,
