Error with help

G

Gordon

I'm running Win98 with Office 2000.
When I click on the help files nothing happens no error
message just nothing.
I have reinstalled Office no change. If anyone has any
suggestions I'll be forever in your dept.

Thanks

Perhaps your system does not meet the minimum system requirements for
HTML Help, which is the format in which the Office 2000 help is
delivered. As a minimum you'll need:

1) Internet Explorer 3.0 or later.

2) Four HTML Help viewer components, which you can install or upgrade
using the hhupd.exe utility available from the Microsoft site.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/htmlhelp/html/hwMicrosoftHTMLHelpDownloads.asp

3) On a baseline Windows 95 system, DCOM95 for Windows 95.

http://www.microsoft.com/com/dcom/dcom95/dcom1_3.asp

For more information on these requirements, see:

http://www.mvps.org/htmlhelpcenter/htmlhelp/hhsysreq.html

If you continue to have problems after you've installed these
components, try running MJ's Help Diagnostics, which is available
from:
