Hello everyone -
I have installed the PSRenamer utility on the App Server of a multiple
server configuration of MSPS. I am not the Admin on the domain - but
am able to do most functions.
I have installed the PSrenamer utility and ensured I did the DLL
registration and the PDS Installation steps to ensure all theps were
completed for the installation.
I am able to log into the server using the
http://servername/projectserver and a username and password for the
ProjectServer Admin.
I can see a list of the projects in the server and can see the
properties for each project (Project Owner, etc). When I rename a
project and hit 'OK', I get an error saying 'Unexpected error...".
the error in the App Server Event Logs says:
Component: PDS
Line: 0
Error numberL 0x2330
Description: CDATA(CMAIN.HandleUnknownRequest 429: ActiveC component
can't create object)
The Database is located on a seperate server (in the same domain). The
SQL Logs don't show any hits on the server or any errors. Thus I don't
believe the issue with with SQL Server.
Please let me know any thoughts you have on this issue.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
