Error with pst

I have two computers (home and office). I have been synced the whole
Outlook folder everyday between two computers.
since 970utlook and 03 Outlook. I did not have much problems. Now, I
have been doing it on Outlook07.
Yesterday, after synchronizing office pst (i.e., Outlook.pst) to home
computer, I got the following error when I opened Outlook.

Cannot open default email folders. The file C:\>Documents and
Setting>....>Outlook.pst is not a personal folder file.

Nothing is wrong with pst file. I wonder what triggered this error. Jorge

Obviously there is; tried copying it again?
Otherwise, run scanpst.exe against it to check it for errors.
