Error with Remove Hidden Data Tool

on a couple of machine that i have installed it on i get the following error
when i open word :

'An error occured while trying to launch the remove Hidden Data Tool. Try
reinstalling'

now I have tried removing and reinstalling but no luck, machines are windows
XP SP1 with Office 2003 SP1

The remove hidden data tool is version 1.0 internal Version number
6.00.2600.0000 I have tried downloading version 1.1 from the site it
downloads but when i look at the internal version no it's 6.00.2600.0000 and
not 11.0.6361.0 which is what version 1.1 should be.

Any idea's on resloving the problems?
