Error with WSS

I recently installed a new instance of Project Server. I created the WSS
instance pointing to a SQL Server Farm configuration and installed it using
the SA account. I then went on to install Project server. After the server
was installed I ran the WSSWIZ.exe utility. I then installed Project Server
SP1. All seems fine, but I recieve a VBSCRIPT error when tyring to save the
changes in the "Manage Windows Sharepoint Services" screen. The error is
"The Specified web server is not extended with Windows Sharepoint Services
or is not accessable via HTTP(S) protocols."

The funny thing is I can pull up the WSS administration site, but I do not
know what the issue is. Can anyone lend any insight to this error please?

thank you

1. Typically you need to run the WSSWIZ.exe after installing Windows
SharePoint Services and before installing Project Server.

2. It appears from your error msg that the WSS web server is not
extended. Did you create 2 web servers? (one for WSS and the other for
Project Server)
