Errors about a RowSource query not existing

We have a multi-user system. A few of the users tend to get errors of non-existing Row-Source queries for combo boxes on the Update form. Actually, the error refers to it as a Record Source. Obviously, the queries exist because they are spelled out literally in the Row Source property and the underlying table exist as well since most other users have no problems and all are using the same database. We have already done a reinstallation of Access on some of these systems. Does anyone have an idea what is going on?
