errors in Excel Print Preview

When setting the Print Area, then setting to fit to one page, in print
preview. Excel returns an error message " Margins do not fit page size."

Once this has happend you cannot get rid of the message as it keeps popping
up when I try to reverse the settings that caused the problem.
