I have a straightforward link of a Visio 2003 drawing to an Access 2002
table. It is one-way, table to drawing. When records are deleted from the
table, the data in the drawing shifts; the link seems to ignore the key field
link and appears to be linking by record sequence in the table. Of course,
this data shift completely invalidates the drawing. I can re-create this
error in a simplified table; factors appear to include having blank or null
values in fields. (But that is not the only factor.) Has anyone experienced
this?
I would appreciate help. Is this a documented problem with a solution? Is
the problem in Visio, Access, or ODBC modules? I have the Visio updates
installed.
