I have a client who has recently added some Vista Business laptops. When they
attempt to use files created with a customized template (from Project 2003
Standard) on either Project 2003 or Project 2007, the application will crash.
We have been able to open the same files in Project 2007 on a NON-VISTA
computer (XP SP2) so the problem appears to be some compatibility issue
between the macros, modules, etc. in the legacy template/files and Windows
Vista.
FYI, these machines are running 32-bit Vista.
Any assistance or confirmation that this might be the actual issue would be
appreciated. I personally have no experience with customizing Project, I am
simply hoping that there is some simple conversion step that will resolve
this on Vista platforms.
