ESC Key + XIRR Problems

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

My escape key does not work! I can only reverse out of a cell by pressing Shift+ESC. Anyone else have this problem?

Also, when using XIRR it works but when I change a number in the spreadsheet, the result changes to NUM until I enter the IRR formula cell and hit return again.

with the XIRR() problem you're having?
