etrieve database values into dropdown and embed in a cell

Hi,
Iam trying to fill a drop down box with values from database and embed that
drop down box into a particular cell, like row 1 column 1 of mpp file.
in anothre column of the same row i want another set of values to be
embedded into the drop down box.
Please help me withthis problem.
If this is possible through macros please provide me a detailed solution.

If the set of values is relatively fixed, then manually enter them into a
custom field as a value list.

If the set of values is not fixed, but varies regularly and you do need to
read from a database then use VBA to read from the database and edit the
values list in a custom field.

I can't provide a detailed solution because that requires understanding what
you want precisely and what data is stored where and what access rights you
have etc. etc. This would definitely be a task to get your IT people
involved with and probably require paying someone to do.

Post what your specific requirements are and maybe we can help further, but
you are asking for a lot of help and then ongoing support to keep the VBA
macro working as changes happen.
