Euro Symbol Help Office/Excel 97

Hello, I have the English version of Office 97 with Excel and when I try
to format an Excel cell for the € Currency, it is not listed under:
Format Cells:Currency:Symbol. All the old European currencies are
listed. I have Office 97 SR-2. Is there an update that I need to get the
€ Symbol? I have NT4, SP6 and the Euro support is obviously been
installed at the operating system level. The Symbol itself works for
Office 97, but it is not listed in the currency category of format
cells.
