Euro Symbol not working in Word V. X

[Euro Symbol]

In text edit I can press Option Shift 2 and get the ? "Euro Symbol" and here
for that matter. But in word I only get a blank space. I have removed and
reinstalled Office X, I have removed all prefrences but it still doesn't work. It
does work on at least one other machine. Any suggestions would be
helpfull.

It seems to depend on the font you use. I had a stupid workaround with
an autocorrect that hopped into TNR. Then I changed my body style to
Adobe Garamond Pro, and it has one. So there.

Don't know why I didn't try that but using Lucida Grande instead of Times
allows the Euro symbol to come up when Option Shift 2 is pressed. Thanks

"?" is a question mark. The euro sign is "¤".
Perhaps you should use a newsreader instead of this Microsoft CDO bullshit.
