Evaluating dates in mail merges

T

Tarheel

I am trying to evaluate a date field to give me mail merge fields based on
the evaluation. For example, I want to say IF a specified date feild is less
than or equal to todays date - display another field from my access database.
A specific example would be IF the expiration date of my license is less
than today's date - do not display the expiration date in my letter. IF the
expiration date is greater than today's date - display the expiration date in
my letter.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would suggest that you use a query in Access to perform the evaluation.
Access is far superior to Word as an application for data manipulation.
