Even after recalling wy receipients r allow to read the orignal me

I have am exchange server 2003 and all client are using Outlook 2003.

If user do a message recall and selects the option "Delete unread coppies of
this email"

As per the information in office help website... recall will fail if the
receipient opens the orignal message first.

My concern is if i am sending a recall message immidiatly and before the
receipinet reads the message.... why the orignal messahe is not getting
deleted... and why receipient are having an option to read the orignal
message..???

Logicall if we are doing message recall .... we would not want the receipint
to read the orignal message..! and this what expecting from the message
recall functionality.

Kindly let me know is there any or patch released by MS to fix this bug.

the message recall functionality.

The recall feature has never been very robust, judging from postings on the
web, and this doesn't surprise me. I would be surprised, however, if there
were any patches to fix it.
