Event Banners

When I set up an all-day event, Outlook has always shown it as a banner in
the days involved with no times and crossing multiple days (in the monthly
view) - the way it is supposed to. Now it displays all-day events like a
regular appointment without a banner and with the time always being 12 AM and
only in the first day of a multiple day event.

How can I get it back to the banner look that crosses multiple days?

I am using Outlook 2003 with SP2.

How is the event set up? As a daily event with recurrence or a single event
that spans from today through X?

It's set up as a single event that spans multiple days - for example a
weekend trip that spans Friday through Sunday. It has no reoccurence.

If I set it as a recurring event over several days, it does show up on the
date without a time and in the colored box but instead of crossing multiple
days it shows up as a block in each day. Okay but still certainly not the way
it supposed to be done. Is this a bug with the event setup or is there a
setting that could have changed? When setup as an all day event over several
days it only shows up in the the first date and has a time of 12:00AM.
