Events and Invites issue in Entourage 2008

I'm having major issues with creating events and sending invites in Entourage 2008. If I create an event by double clicking in the calendar and then fill out any text I can't save the event. There's no save button. If I click the red button to close out the event box, nothing happens. I can hit the delete button.

Related to this is that if I set up a meeting I can add invites, but I can't send the meeting invitation; the send invite button is grayed out. I also can't accept invitations from anyone. The accept button is grayed out, and clicking the Accept text does nothing.

I am getting the same issue. Cannot save new events (unless i invite
myself to them by email.)

Has anyone else figured this out?

Same issue here - while using an exchange account connection.

- If you display the calendar by week, then you can drag and create an event, but not open or edit it.
- If you just create a new event by using Apple+N, then the new event window appears, but you cannot close it or save anything you have entered in that window.

It won't let you do anything and you have to force-quit the prog.

Same thing exactly as everyone else has described happening here. I
was using late betas and the problem existed there as well. I upgraded
my 04 database when 08 was installed. I've tried verifying, compacting
and repairing my database with no effect.
