events in calander showing up as invited events after import

Recently we installed exchange 2000 on our server. I
setup the new accounts on the server and imported from
their old PST files. One of my users now had most of the
entries in his calander showing up as invited events
rather then just events. The show up more like a e-mail
then a calander event. Is there any wat to change them
back?
