We are running Outlook 2001 on OS9 with inconsistent events appearing
between two time zones (Brisbane & Melbourne) on a public calendar.
It appears to be a daylight saving issue but I am unsure how to solve
it. A sample printout follows:
12:00 AM 01:00 AM Tom - R/L
12:00 AM 01:00 AM Sally 8-4
12:00 AM 01:00 AM Gail 11-7
01:00 AM 11:59 PM Tom -R/L
01:00 AM 11:59 PM Sally 11-7
01:00 AM 11:59 PM Gail 8-4
In reality only 3 events should be appearing in the calendar. Control
panels appear consistent with both showing their correct city in the
current time zone and daylight savings time is not enabled or
automatically selected. The problem is only occuring in Melbourne and
the calendar is maintained from Brisbane. I've tried playing around
with the control panels to change the time zone to Brisbane but adjust
the clock to Melbourne and whilst this solves the above problem, the
users own appointments move forward one hour. I would really
appreciate some advice.
Many thanks.
