I have an application with that has visio control 11.0,.it works fine
ofcourse . now i unstalled the visio 2003 and installed visio 2007.
Now again I uninstalled visio 2007 and installed visio 2003. when i
run my application (that was working fine in visio 2003), There is no
events working for the drawing. I checked that in windows xp and
windows vista.

Why is drawing event not working after install/reinstall combination
of visio 2003/2007.??

Is there any solution to this problem?

My understanding is that you need to use Visio Control 11.0 on a PC that has
never been tainted with a Visio 2007 (12.0) copy.
So, installing and de-installing won't solve it.

I had to create a new Virtual PC for just this reason.

Thanks david. I know visio control 11.0 works fine with visio 2003.
but as visio 2007 is fresh and new so many people are upgrading to
Visio 2007. Visio 2007 has issues with installation/uninstallation i
have placed 12.0 control in above scenerio it works just fine. It
means Visio 2007 is not completely uninstalled. some of the components
are still there. I think if i find those left components then im good
to go i guess.... do you have any ideas about it ???

I believe that Microsoft know about the problem, but I am not sure if they
are going to fix it.
I also undrestand that they use a virgin PC installation themselves because
uninstall does not return the registry back to its original state.
