Everything is Black

When I go into publisher everything but the background is black. All the text
boxes and picture boxes are black. If I do a print preview it shows up
normally. What can I do? I can't figure it out.

Take a look at the Accessibility high contrast settings in the Control Panel.

No, it's not that. This is just happening in Publisher. I need to correct
myself in saying the background is fine, it's just the text and picture boxes
that are black. If I do a print preview or actually print out the pages it's
normal.

Does this happen for all publications? What version Publisher are you using? Is
your video/graphics driver current?
The only other suggestion I have is a detect and repair for older versions or
Office Diagnostics in 2007, both found in the Help menu.
