ewmbedding a ppt or pps file in a web page for automated playback

Im looking for a way to allow people to view slideshows
embedded into a web page. This would allow people to
post documents to a site and have then viewable without
having to convert ppt into html. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. An alternative would be to convert
PPS with audio narration into AVI or wmv files. Is that
possible?
