exactly why do I need B2TR?

I've tried searching through the group and through Microsoft, but can't
get a straight, complete, simple answer. I'm a senior at college, so:
1) I don't have much time to look it all up, and 2) I desparately need
OneNote to work properly, so I can take & maintain my notes.

I have a separate message concerning some of the problems I've been
facing. But with this message I just want to get the facts on what
exactly B2TR does... (oh, and how to install it).

You need to install the B2TR just to secure the latter:
Man bugs have been removed which still were sitting in the previous
builds. ON has become far more stable and some rather odd things (like
handling the cache for embedded files) have been by far improved.

So RUN (not walk) to download B2TR and install it ASAP.

B2TR contains the latest public version of the ON 2007 beta. If you want
to try the product or want to use it in a semi production mode, you should
use the latest stable version.

To install it, you need to already have Beta 2. B2TR installs on top of
B2.
