That subject probably isn't very good, and I coudn't figure out which NG
would be the best to ask this question, but.....I have a db I've had in
operation for quite some time now. Over that time, I've experimented with
different things....some I've put into use, some not......is there any
utility, any way, at this point to run that would tell me the exact
flow....that is, what tables are being used in what queries, what queries
and being used where, etc., etc. so that if I have something I'm not using I
can delete it out.

Thanks for any help,
Bob

There are several commercially available utilities that will help you do
this.

Total Access Analyzer by FMS will build an object crossreference for you.
This is just one of the many types of analysis that this product will
perform on your db. This product is probably the one that will do the most
for you.

SPEED Ferret by Black Moshannon Systems is a Find & Replace utility that
will quickly search all properties of all objects looking for occurences of
a text string. I've used this many times prior to deleting an object that I
think is no longer in use.

A more economical Find & Replace utility is named Find & Replace and is by
Rick Fisher. This one does alot of what Speed Ferret does, but it's not
quite as extensive in it's searches nor is it quite as fast. Nevertheless, I
used it for several years.

I've used and can recommend all of these utilities.
