greetings all,
i am looking for good documentation and/or example code to help me gain an
understanding of the steps required to implement web access views for
executive level personnel. This is like the buzz-term "digital dashboard",
whereby certain groups have access to summary views via their intranet.
(windows authentication)
I have poked around the various microsoft support sites, but have not found
what I am looking for. I am a seasoned developer but know almost nothing
about project server. Specifically, what I am attempting to learn is the
code standards for these views- and how the user is authenticated, are the
views simply objects created or rendered through project server and the
source of an iFrame, etc.
So... any links/pointers to good tech notes or code/ implementation examples
would be highly appreciated.
Just in case you might need server specifics:
win2000 server, project server 2002. My development language of choice is
asp.net (vb), but could use samples in .asp or c# as well. (prefer vb
asp.net)
Thanks in advance,
michael
