when a cell is selected and with movement of the mouse
several cells are activated as in preparing to copy and
the cells expand in the direction to the maxiumum that
Excel allows. Message advises that Excel cannot close.
the only way out is us TASK MGR. When the file is
subsquently reopened the cell problem continues. I have
upgraded from 2000 to 2003. i have activated the
software.I have run several complete anti virus scans. -
the definitions are current. I have tried to run patches
and i get message that it did not find the software it
was looking for.
