In previous version of Excel, you could select a range of cells and apply a
specific border to every cell in the range. This does not work in Excel in
Office 2000. Is there some other solution? Am I missing something here.
Using the cross hairs to put border on a selected range of cells isn't
adequate if I want only vertical or only horizontal borders on every cell in
the range. I have tried ti with both the buttons on the tool bar and the
format/cells/border commands.
Hope you can help - I didn't find a user group for general Excel questions.
Thanks
