Excel 2000 crashes on lauch

I get this error message while launching excel
2000. "0x3001dfc4 reference memory oxe5921e5e. Memory
could not be read". I have already ran office SP3 and
have already uninstalled and reinstalled the entire office
package. Please Help!

Long shot...Try searching for a file with a .xlb extension. This may be
hidden so make sure you search hidden files also. (It will be named
something like Excel9.xlb) This is the toolbar customisation file. When
you find it, move it out of it's current folder. If the problem goes away
you can delete it. Excel creates a new one but any toolbar customisations
will be lost.

If it doesn't work, replace it in it's folder and look elsewhere.
Particularly look at any applications you have installed recently or ones
you installed some time ago but have only just started using.
