Excel 2000 does not "save as"

Try removing patch and see if save as works. If it does,
then the problem is in the patch.

updates. I just learned that Excel will not "save as". I
can open an excel file and "save" that file but I cannot
perform a "save as". I do not receive an error nor do I
see any activity... there is no noticable change in the
screen. This has been working up until last week. Could
it be as a result of my applying the latest security
patches? Any ideas?
