Hello,
I have a few spreadsheet which are linked to each other. Its linked
using macro. This is a project which I'm working on for my client. The
spreadsheets was actually migrated from excel 95 to excel 2000.
Everything seem to be working fine except when I save as the worksheet
to a webpage which uses the offset functions to extract the updated
values from another worksheet, it does not want to update the webpage
automatically.
I did a test on a new workbook whereby I entered some sample values and
saved it as webpage and it did work. It updates the webpage each time I
make any changes on the spreadsheet. I wonder why its not working with
the offset values.
In excel 2000, there are different versions. To do the project at my
place, I was using Excel 2000 premium edition and it works fine in this
version. It updates automatically. My client is using excel 2000 SR-1.
The macro coding is the same because I copied this workable one to my
client's place.
I don't think it could be the macro because the coding is the same on
both the version that I'm using. Could it be the version compatibilties
or perhaps some macro rights because my client's company is a very big
firm.
Need some advice.
