We have a customer that just installed all the latest XP
and Office 2000 service packs and security updates. Prior
to that, they were able to create hyperlinks (to other
Excel sheets/cells in the same workbook) and then save
the spreadsheet as an html file, then open the html file
in IE, and the links would work. After the installation
of all the latest patches, that feature doesn't work
anymore. Pretty sure this feature was actually a security
hole but wondered if there was a way to selectively turn
on the feature again.
