Hi,
I'm having an issue with one of our supported users where they are
attempting to open an Excel spreadsheet that has been protected by a modify
password, however they are not prompted and it is immediately opened as
Read-Only (as indicated in the title bar).
The user is opening it from a network resource (A Windows 2000 server, with
latest service packs) using both local and Citrix delivered Excel, with
identical results (which we assumed ruled out either local profile - we don't
use roaming profiles - and terminal services profile) however when opening as
another user on another machine they are able to open it successfully and be
prompted for the modify password.
Has anyone had any experience of this issue, and can remember what they did
to resolve it?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
