Excel 2000 - Page breaks

D

David Reynolds

The page breaks for a given spreadsheet appear in a
different column when viewed from a Windows98SE client
and a Windows2000 client.
The above version of Excel is installed on both machines.
How can I correct this?

Hi David,
If having a format that will not change from one printer to
another and one operating system (and fonts, drivers, printers),
and versions of Excel is real important then you would probably
have to print to a PDF file.

You can go crazy trying to adjust things so that it prints the
same and consistently. You could force page breaks to
the smallest data per page that either fits. You could try
using the File, Page Setup, Page (tab),
fit pages ____ wide by __ tall
since you are concerned with the width, try setting the width first.
